I am not very good with words but let me try to express what I felt today after looking this Mortein Coil & Dhoop kept together at a fruit shop.

We use Dhoop in Poojas. Its an Indian tradition to keep a Pooja at home during the 'BIRTH' of a child.

On the other hand, Mortein is used to 'KILL' mosquites & flies.

So The *Life* and The *Death* are both kept together.
DONT FEAR DEATH, 
You can't live Forever but you can surely live your life to the Fullest !!

Agraphobia is the abnormal fear of sexual abuse as a result of which 80% women commit suicide.

We are living in the so called 21st century, where a boy with 5 girlfriends is called a HERO and a girl with 5 "MALE FRIENDS" is called a SLUT !!
A guy with a beer & cigarette in hand is found to be COOL whereas a girl with a beer & cigarette is tagged UNCULTURED !!

Rape cases in India are growing rapidly.
Most of the cases are not highlighted on the media. The small villages, towns goes unnoticed.

As I mentioned earlier, I am not very good with words, therefore I chose Photography as the medium to reach people.
But those who do not understand the language of Photography, I want them to know that "GIRLS ARE NOT TOYS"
You cannot play with them & throw them as & when required !!
Think of your sister / mother to be treated as how u'r treating that girl today.
Think of your daughter to be raped at the age of 5 like you'r doing it today.
Think of your wife be used by someone & thrown on the road with no clothes as you are doing it today.

There's a lot more to be thought ! 

A girl around 17-18 years old is raped.
There's a lot of anger in the people.
Protests ! Rallies !
Goes on for 6 months .. 7 months .. year ..

& then ..

After an year everyone is back to their life, their routine.
Nothing's changed . No rule , No Law .

After a few days, again the same case.
Girl Raped, anger in teenagers, rallies, protest ..... !!

We the people in India wait for something to happen & then take some action
& sometimes even the action isn't taken.
And everyone wants a *MODERN INDIA*

You as an individual has to take the first step & the society will change automatically.

I would like to thank Aishwarya Kanchan for being the model & allowing me to shoot such a bold topic with her.

I dont know my photography is that strong or not that it affects anyone,
So in very Simple words to everyone..

She's no different from others .. has 2 eyes, 1 nose & 2 ears.
The society look at such people in a weird manner as if we got an option to choose our skin colour or getting a perfect body.
 

I dont think you'l make fun of your father or mother having a darker complexion.
Then why laugh on strangers ?

She's fed up now .. Of all the comments, strange looks, laughs from strangers :/
Why are we treating them as someone different ?
She's a part of Us, have the right to Love & being Loved !!

At this age he should be studying in a school, playing around with friends but he's busy serving his brother & sister.

Mom & Dad, both out on work .. working hard to feed their children
& this 6-7 year old boy is taking care of his siblings.
 

Aren't we lucky enough to be born in a family where all our needs are fulfilled ?
"Dad, I want a new phone .. Got this last month but I am bored now"
And the next day, there's a brand new phone on your table.
 

Why ??
Is it destiny playing around that these people are on roads & we in our air conditioned houses ?
 

I really don't have any answer to this question.
 

We want iphones, ipads, macbooks, expensive cars, every weekend party .. 
but just once think of these people !

What if you skip one of your pizza party & take on of these to have Pizza with you ?
What if you take a less expensive phone & give the saved money to one of these or buy him what he really want ?
What if you buy 2 jeans less & give some clothes to one of these ?
 

*STOP throwing your dad's money on what is not important*
 

The next time you go to a mall, think of these people and then spend.

This 12 year old boy, Pintu works in a bakery shop.
 

Me : Do u go to school ?
Pintu : Yes. In the morning I go to school & then I come here to the shop.
Me : What does your dad do ?
Pintu : He's no more. Only me, my mom, one sister who's married & my big brother who lives in Bombay.
Me : Is your mom working ?
Pintu : No, she can't .Only I earn.
Me : Keep this 100 for your school fees & ask me for anything .. anytime.
Pintu : Thank You so much bhaiya (smiling)
 

Yes, today I think Money CAN buy Happiness.
A 100 Ruppe note made this little boy so happy !!
 

I think you get happiness by spreading happiness.
But for this poor boy, Yes Money did buy him Happiness.

Today, people are most interested in India - Pakistan cricket match.
Why only "India & Pakistan" ?
Because we are having a fight with Pakistan ?

No rule or law can change this, its just the mindset of people which can.
We have to start treating everyone equally.
